This two-day trip from Tsaghkadzor invites you to explore the spiritual, natural, and cultural treasures of southern Armenia. The first day begins with a visit to Khor Virap Monastery, one of Armenia’s most sacred sites, offering stunning views of Mount Ararat. The route continues to Jermuk, the spa town known for its Drinking Gallery and the graceful Jermuk Waterfall, where visitors can enjoy healing mineral waters. The journey proceeds to the Areni Winery and Birds’ Cave 1, showcasing Armenia’s ancient winemaking traditions, and ends at the majestic Noravank Monastery, surrounded by dramatic red cliffs. On the second day, travelers visit Shaki Waterfall, a breathtaking natural wonder, then take the Tatev Ropeway, the world’s longest reversible cable car, to reach the medieval Tatev Monastery, a symbol of Armenia’s spiritual heritage. The tour concludes with the remarkable Khndzoresk Cave City, where ancient cave dwellings and a suspension bridge leave unforgettable impressions.
