On the first day, visit the sacred Khor Virap Monastery, with breathtaking views of Mount Ararat — a place where Armenia’s Christian history began. Continue to the Vayots Dzor region to discover Noravank Monastery, nestled among red cliffs, and explore the Areni Winery and Birds’ Cave 1, where the world’s oldest wine traces were found. Then head to Jermuk, Armenia’s famous spa town, known for its Drinking Gallery and the enchanting Jermuk Waterfall, where you’ll stay overnight. On the second day, travel south to Syunik to explore Tatev Monastery, one of Armenia’s medieval marvels, and ride the Tatev Ropeway, the world’s longest reversible cable car. Visit the mysterious Khndzoresk Cave City and the historic Selim Caravanserai on your way back to Yerevan. This journey blends history, spirituality, and breathtaking scenery — a perfect escape for curious travelers.
