This 4-day journey from Yerevan takes travelers through Armenia’s most diverse southern landscapes — from the plains of Ararat to the mountains of Syunik and Meghri. On the first day, explore Khor Virap Monastery where the Armenian Christianity begin in 301 and admire with the view of Mount Ararat, then visit Noravank Monastery, Areni Winery, and Areni-1 Cave, where the world’s oldest wine traces were found. The second day features Tatev Monastery, a masterpiece of medieval architecture, and a ride on the record-breaking Tatev Ropeway over the Vorotan Gorge. Continue to Baghaberd Fortress and Vahanavank Monastery before reaching Meghri. On day 3, discover Meghri Fortress, Saint John Church, and unwind at Jermuk Waterfall and the Mineral Gallery. The final day passes through Lake Sevan, Sevanavank Monastery, Noratus Cemetery, and the Selim Caravanserai, showcasing Armenia’s ancient spirituality, Silk Road heritage, and breathtaking nature.
